Since I'm on this depressing movies kick, I decided to go watch The Wrestler - a flick about a has-been wrestler trying to make it in an unforgiving New Jersey.
Holy friggin schnietzel - this is a great movie.
Despite the fact that what happened to Mickey Rourke's good looks of the 80s is criminal, he did an amazing job and I'm crossing all six fingers that he gets the Oscar. Bonus for those of you that care: you get to see Marisa Tomei's tatas and she looks flippin fantastic for an old lady (40 is the new 70). Anyway, the Bruce Springsteen song at the end pretty much launched the waterworks in the theater but the rest of the music was stellar hair metal. There's so much to this movie. You just have to see it.
